the argument isn't about the quality of her work. as stated earlier that's subjective. the point of all of this is that she's been a terrible businesswomen + been very arrogant and this has bitten her on the backdoor. she'll still work and still make great money but her back catalogue will belong to someone else.
shit, if she were in any other country going broke could be an issue but america has the whole chapter 11 thing so she can pretty much dust herself off and start over - and at high rates. any other country forces all kinds of financial and social stigma for up to 7 years.
if nothing else this should serve as a cautionary tale.
