I just got back from Asia last week and I'm still recovering from flu. I think it probably is H1N1 since it's the first flu I've suffered from in about 5 years. It's the flu — big deal. On that note, though, I've never seen so many face masks as I've seen on Asian people in airports. It was pretty funny. The most accurate and reasonable description I've seen for "swine flu," though, was on a warning card handed out at the airport in Tokyo: "We are experiencing a novel flu strain." It's novel, which makes the mindless panic.
