I spilled Coke on a MacBook Pro keyboard.. I told them at the Apple Store.. the repair cost wasn't so bad I thought (I have 3yr Applecare, not sure if they discounted). The important thing is they confirmed that after the repair I am back to fully warrantied status as if spill never happened (so if logic board later fries because of the spill, I'm not liable).
