    I agree that the leading is too loose when using the same as body copy. I have been trying to calculate the footer/sidebar point size and leading based on percentages of my baseline.

    So using 8/11 my footer text is 25% smaller in than the body copy, making it 6/8.25. This keeps the text lining up on the baseline, but it still feels a little large. Will just have to keep playing with it!
