  Concrete5 is fairly extensive, and is best described as a framework-come-cms.

  I can only recommend you all use it and persevere with it. From a PHP development point of view, it has completely negated the requirement for me to learn a framework such as CI or Zend.

  And I'm really growing to hate word press. Bar the UI, it's a shody piece of workmanship and a liability at that.
