More space is better any way you slice it. Games are increasingly becoming bloated and the file sizes require a lot of space. Plus, if you're planning on renting any movies over the Playstation network, it downloads them temporarily to your HD and people were pissed when they discovered that their drives couldn't handle it. I'd get the slim if I had to do it all over again.
- more space at the cost of HD speed sucks though, don't know the specs in this caseversion3
