I use Logic and an Apogee Duet. Really hoping to upgrade to the new Logic very soon on account of the huge improvements they have made to guitar recording and software based guitar tones/effects.
GarageBand is a great program; in fact because of it's simplicity I've heard that many people use it to create their tracks, then move them over to Logic for more advanced features. I don't do that myself, but it makes sense. Garageband is easy as it gets to use.
