I'm not sure what response 'francoisfido' is referring to, but i will say this...

I often feel like the comment section of QBN has devolved into mudslinging and nastiness. I understand critiquing and criticism– i went to art school too. But all of this non-constructive dissing (usually behind the veil of a handle and no site to be critiqued in return) isn't really doing any good in my opinion.

If the argument is that everyone here is critiquing one's work in order to help that person get better, then I'd like to see some real positive feedback. I don't think many of the negative comments here are constructive or are designed to contribute something positive... it's more like a pile on. And yeah, it does feel like a lot of bitterness being thrown around for whatever reason.

I personally think this guy's work is strong. I've met him, i've seen him present it, and i stand by it. I don't expect everyone to agree, but it saddens me that (to 'Pupsipu's point) that Eric will log on here and see a mostly negative thread. Not very encouraging.

I thought QBN was meant to be a "community" ?

    • i was actually trolling and being sarcastic, this thread is awesomePupsipu
