Zune has games, checkout the marketplace... it's the same as the XBOX marketplace.
MS also has more HD movies for sell, they've been making backdoor deals with the studios for a while now since Apple was so hell bent on pissing off their supplier by forcing them to lower their price.
As for the one product comment, the portable entertainment device market is very small and growing very fast. MS is basically looking at that and trying to grab a piece of the pie, not converting ipod users. Think of it this way, Apple is sitting at a little under 4% of the installed base of computers. According to your logic they should just give up? Or are you just being a fanatic??
