Man I could never get used to any of those programs, they always seemed like such a cluster f*ck to me (Reason comes to my mind first). Is the cost factor why so many peeps use software instead of buying the equipment to produce? I've always been interested in experimenting..just wish I could find some cheap hardware.

- you can get early 2000/late 90s equipment for cheap right now. emu ultra samplers, nords, etc...sublocked
- software also offers a streamlined workflow. best to combine the two imho...sublocked
