remember they need LOTS of sun, and a very regular day/night cycle, so get proper lights and a timer system.

if they don't get enough light, they'll stretch upward like skinny crackheads trying to get a fix, which will make their stems spindly, weak, and eventually fall over. light will keep them lush and squat.

also, resist the urge to water them constantly. make sure to let the soil dry out completely before watering or they won't try to grow roots. no roots = slow growth and poor physical support.

females will go hermaphroditic or "hermie" and turn into males. you can sex them by looking for seed-like "nuts" or "bananas". toss those plants quickly or they'll end up pollinating your females and you'll lose a whole crop of good bud.

    • yeah, I might try and build a timed lighting system with some hardware and an old laptop. thx for the infoismith
    • did yours 'go hermie'? also, did the plant have a bad odor?ismith
    • a couple of mine did, then my female got these caterpillars on it which devoured the leavesscarabin
    • stress (irregular care) will cause them to go hermiescarabin
