I have 2 pretty nice cars that are both pre 2002 and they both have cassette players in the dash and CD changers in the truck.
Both CD changers are getting old and skip and malfunction all the time. Using a cassette adapter or FM transmitter for my ipod is a pain.
I found most used record shops sell used cassettes for less than 2 bucks. It's well worth it, it's way easier than burning or downloading and you can find some pretty crazy obscure stuff out there.
