I had the galant but went to get a new desk this past weekend. Got the "Vika Amon" from Ikea. 78 inches long and about 29" deep. The tabletop cost me $45 each and each leg cost me $5 (needs 10 legs for two tables). They look awesome for $45. It's not quality shit but hey, it's $45. If it gets f-ed up in 3 years, I'll toss them and get new ones. The surface looks like real wood and it's about an inch and a half thick. Can't beat that deal. Looks great with mac stuff too.
