    No. I have a Dell 23" monitor and it's just as good as a Cinema display and about 2/3 the price. It also has card reader slots on the side. Pricewise there are tons of brands that are significantly cheaper than Apple monitors. I suggest doing a price and feature comparison on a site like CNet and asking some people (like us).

    • Not all Dells same as Cinema Display (my Dell 24" wasn't... had blue-ish tinge in blacks, variable brightness)ribit
    • dell doesn't make a 23" with an IPS panel, so it's not as good as the apple, sorryacescence
    • that's what people that bought dell's want to believe, but its not.
