BusterBoy - I've actually looked at some statistics on this sort of thing. In the ages 13-21 gang style bullying is rising tremendously, but in almost every other category things are actually steady or improving ever so slightly.
Some Facts. 1 on 1 fights are the most common. They usually involve alcohol and the smaller guy starting the actual violence. Smaller guy trying to assert dominance and therefore trying to take out the supposed Alpha Male.
2 on 1 fights are almost unheard of.
3 or more on 1 fights are rising slightly. Guys who would be Beta Males on their own join together and as a pack act like Alpha Males.
The saddest thing for Women's Lib is that females seem to be acting more and more like males, but female violence is still far, far less prevalent than that perpetrated by males.
