  A. would be the choice.
  I want to take a drawing and mask the drawing making it appear as if the single line is drawing out never ending and in the process drawing out real world shapes.

  Sorry, but I don't have a good example to show although I've seen it numerous times. I can recall a show on Discovery (How do the do it) that used clips of this kind in between topics. Hope this helps!
