A flask with your initials/ name on it does invoke class.

It shows those around you that you can't be without alcohol at any moment. Especially in those moments when alcohol is not readily available, or legally allowed to be imbibed given your current location.

It also shows that with your name clearly on it, that you are in fact a professional. And as such, should be treated with a higher degree of respect. You remember the days of writing your name on your cups growing up, and have sufficiently taken it to the next level - announcing to the world, "I am an adult, and will be treated as such."

That or you're an incredible alcoholic, who needs the name on said flask so when you inevitable pass out but not before throwing the empty libation holder at someone who obviously deserves injury, that the possibilty of getting it back is very real.

Then again I have four flasks, and one says, "Rattley".

Sometimes flasks get added to someone else's ranks.

    Like Highlander.
