Just because you HAVE their email addresses doesn't mean you can USE their email addresses. You haven't said how you came upon these email addresses, but simply emailing somebody doesn't give you clearance to sign them up for whatever your campaign is. They have to opt in, it has to be 100% clear what they'll be getting, and it can't be more than a year ago (maybe two, I don't quite recall).
If you don't meet all three of these criteria you'll get flagged as spam so fast and so hard you'll wish you had listened to Meeklo.
