i really really dig it, stands out, left a good impression.
details i didn´t like: the tv theme is carried too far IMHO. f.ex. the tv guide logos on the info page, the ticker thing on the bottom (also busy) and the wording ("channels") seems kind of crude/obvious. more subtlety would fit better.
the scrolling needs fixing, i´m on 1920px width, there are cases when half of the thumbnail area is empty and you still can next/prev them out of sight. also glitches there with the first and the last thumbnail, they jerk around. i also didn´t like the solid black parts (top, frame for the content), i imagine it would look gorgeous on the background image/static visual..
