I have given this much thought and yes I think cyclists should obey the rules but in the same breath often bust through red lights (when its safe, I always stop to check first) because I think fuck it, i am not in a car. If there were no cars allowed in the inner city and it was all cycle lanes and bus lanes then yeah I would stop at every set of traffic lights solely for bikes and buses. But in London there are lights every 100 metres in to deal with car congestion I just sometimes think fuck it.
