Going to be a great series for sure. As a Penguin fan, I of course truly believe they will win. It's a lot different feeling than last year. The Red Wings are a great team, but to see how Crosby has put every shift into overdrive during these playoffs, and how it has rubbed off on every single player ...
I don't even think a healthy Red Wings team would win in a 7 game series. Please do not use that as an excuse when the exact opposite of last year's series happens.
The best thing for the Wings would have been to lose yesterday.
I have tickets to Game 1 in Detroit, but it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to go unfortunately. Which blows because I had a blast there last year (despite the Pens shitting the bed in Games 1/2).
Everyone glazes over the fact that the next 4 games were about as evenly matched as you could possibly get.
