I had a client once in love with Umbraco, probably because it was .NET and would make his IT dept happy.....
BUT it was wwwwaaaaayyyy less mind-controlling than Sharepoint... which was the only alternative....
I ended up not taking the project, but it didn't look too bad for a Windows-land project....
Note that any Windows-land IT Dept project usually takes 3-4 times longer, has lots of meetings and works fine for your bottom line as long as it's not a flat bid!
- sounds about right, I've worked with people who wanked over anything .NET no matter how shitfiesta
