    Im sorry to say, but you're all very very wrong.
    The apple symbol is a danish hellinistic symbol used in that country to symbolise relic, cultural heritage etc. on road signs.
    the NAzi sign however is an old traditional sun symbol that has been used in kritianity and even is in use today in the Shinto-buddishm in japan.

    google nazi sign & temple and you will see many examples of this.

    It just goes to show the power of symbols and what we put in them....
    not many would dare to carry around a necklace with a sun symbol like that these days.
