really good ideas all - im leaning toward partnering up with someone who would act as my opposite in a lot of ways (business savvy, numbers, etc.) to create a nice synergy. The person I have in mind HAS money to spend on getting a working model up. I've heard that major investment firms won't spend any money until there is something out there that not only shows potential, but a consistent track-record of positive feedback. I think I'll go this route for now - thanks for all the head's up!
