    The most effective and cost effective way to stop terrorism is to stop, search and question people who fit the description of current terrorist groups within the UK.

    The police cannot do this as it would mean stopping ethnic minorities, and that would be seen as them being racist.

    So instead to keep the 'balance' right, they have to stop people like you, me, your mum, your gran.
    And this is a complete waste of taxpayers money.

    This scaremongering advertising is a load of nonsense too and a complete waste of taxpayers money.

    I mentioned this following point in another thread;
    the other week there was a press release about "terror training" people who work in the public sector are meant to be getting.

    One of the lines ...

    "The updated strategy will increase the focus on challenging individuals and groups who undermine the UK's "shared values" - even if they are not breaking the law."

    Forgive me if i'm wrong in suggesting this ... but doesnt that statement make all these bankers (who took risks with UK savers money) terrorists?

    Like Moth said, we do have far bigger problems in the UK than terrorism. I'm pretty sure that all the drink, drugs and car crashes dont even add up to the BILLIONS that have been lost thanks to these corrupt bankers.

    I'd rather see billboards of these corrupt bankers put up everywhere, especially in their local neighbourhoods lol, so that people can suitable acknowledge these bankers as they pass them in the street and act accordingly.
