sorry for the 'slapdash'ness. This is a pretty informal survey, but I think this kind of industry specific information is useful, especially for those on the job hunt.
Many companies are cutting design/advertising budjets and moving things in house, which means shopping your portfolio around to design firms might be a less effective approach than looking for in-house work. Yes, the survey is informal, but the motivation is to collect some very useful info.
