I hate the broadway stuff too, at least during award shows. The opening sequence was good (with Anne Hathaway), but not the other one (by Baz Luhrmann, who is usually great). Aren't they supposed to be playing music from each film that is nominated for Best Picture? I guess they went the broadway route because of Hugh Jackman.
Anyone like the new style? (kind of) Going in sequence of how a film is created. It all seems a bit odd.
