Ellen was set up as the fifth in the first episode of this new series, for sure - but she's not been confirmed as such, has she?
I find more interesting the subtle dialogue and intent of the flashback before Gaeta meets his fate. Unless I've missed something really obvious along the way - what is all that about? When Gaius says he knows who Gaeta is - what does he mean by that? Gaeta talks of being a polymath, and admits to not never having been able to find himself - and then, at the end, there's that curious detail "it's stopped" - like at that moment, he'd found his purpose - to die? I dunno.
Whatever - these last few episodes have really brought out the best (by which I mean the worst, the darkest) in the series - I had fretted about all what would happen with the series after the devastation of Earth, but admit I'm enjoying it.
