  FWIW - Teehan+Lax designed Image Spark.

  It will never be an invite only site like ffffound. Yes, image searching is available, as are tags - There are a few more options too, but I don't think you'll find they get in the way of simply browsing images. For launch there will also be two good upload tools - FFplugin and a Mac client.

  We're expecting it to be publicly available soon (Jan 28 or 29)
