  I preorded it a week ago and picked it up yesterday at Gamestop. It's awesome! The gameplay for the most part is the same, but tweaked, if that make sense. There is more emphasis on hitting grinds at the right angle and other attention to details. Like, your trucks can get caught up on a boardslide and doing a 360 or 180 is slower...sorta. There's a lot more pools and shit too. There are parts of the old game in it to.
