They probably have some kinda über geek nerdiness going on which is frightening. Some kinda nanobots they can remotely bombard your crib with that'll target your appliances to over heat, or maybe they are termite like and will just slowly eat there way through the houses support structures so the next stormy night you'll find yourself in bed with a cute chick and the house will just collapse right before you gasm.... bastards
