The black dot issue is being over-blown by pixel peepers who spends too much time looking for faults in this camera. Canon will be releasing a firmware update that will fix this issue.
P.S: I pre-ordered last september and I'm still waiting for delivery. Damn you B&H!!!!

- the best part is the high ISOs....i upgraded from a 1st gen D70, so it's been quite amazing. low light is not prob...very low noise. have not run into the black dot thing everyone is talking aboutlinearch
