Fair enough, thanks guys.
The only reason I'm asking is that I am now the proud owner of a MacBook... and I'm going through the process of installing software, configuring, etc etc...
I have a spare license for Office 2008 on Mac (no, you can't have it), but have been wondering whether to try and be less of a corporate bitch on this machine and go for free open source software where I can.
Is that a stupid thing to try and do? I've got the Office disc staring me in the face...
