    for drinks, go to this bar. it is really great. JULIP on geary/taylor in the tenderloin. it'snot like other places in the city.
    for great veggy food, go to GREENS in fort mason.
    the SFMOMA is really crowded now because the non-travelling chagall show is attracting all sorts, so be prepared to wait. i gave away tix last time to the ppl furthest in line cos i had extra. they probably had an hour wait.

    PICARO on 16th/mission is a great place for tapas

    of course AMOEBA on haight
    OPEN MIND on divis

    and go to dave egger's pirate supply store at 826 valencia!

    there are loads other places/things to do but these are just the general that are bound to please everyone.

    also...metro hotel on divis across from open mind has nice prix fixe menu that is reasonably priced.

    night monkey on union for late night GOOD FOOD eatin'.
