    You are saying stupid things. Honestly.

    First if a print designer does a website, they do it because they have nobody else to do it for them (time, budget, etc...)
    Go to an Agency, firm, etc... and the web dudes do the web stuff. The designers care about the aesthetics and work together as a team. But the web dudes do NOT eclipse the project as if they were usability experts, coz they aren't.

    Second, there are shitloads of web designers that call themselves web designer simply because they read some javascript, css, pearl , phph books over a period of 4 years at home and practiced.
    This DOES NOT make them experts or WORST... experts in usability.

    Also, chill down a bit. The term web designer is so loose. Many of them have ZERO education, some have certificates and small diplomas. We should talk more when 4-year bachelor degree programs are offered as a standard in any College or University. This alone shows that you CAN'T just be an expert because you say so.
