I have an Auxilliary In on my stereo. Full size standard RCA plugs.
I plugged in a Y cable - RCA to miniplug and then drilled a small hole below my stereo in the little slot/holder thing that happened to be there and fed the cable through it.
I just set my iPod on the seat next to me or in my lap and go.
Works great.
There are tons of cheap CD decks with auxilliary RCA input. You just have to swing feeding the cable through something.
Now I just need new speakers . . .
