I used to like Fat Albert as a kid, so my brother would call me Fat Jer for awhile, and it made a resurgence when I was in high school. The weird part is that it made its comeback across the state where my family was from, and then a lot of my friends from there came out to Pittsburgh for college, haha.
It's translated to simply Fatso mostly, but I have to say it is a great name because I'm gaunt if anything, and have never been fat in my life.
There have been countless times where I've met people and they are like, "Wait a second you're not fat!" Or, "Geez, I thought they were being mean calling you Fat Jer when I heard stories about you."
