was talkin over some drinks after work about old arcade machines.
when i was at high school, a bunch of us took the afternoon off and sneaked into the university union - they had a Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles (when it first came out in the uk they were 'hero' turtles as 'ninjas' were deemed violent/negative).
Anyway, with that particular machine, when you bundled lots of 10p's in there one after the other, the counter got confused and you could hit the Player buttons to get infinite credits.
i and some others went back to school for the afternoon but a couple of mates stayed and completed the game.- back in the 80s we got credits when knacking an electric lighter at the coin-insert. knack knack, all night long.invisiblechamber
