Ah sorted, just went to a different paper merchant who seems to deal with designers on short runs. Ordered the paper and await the costs.
It was strange asking the printer to recommend a finisher. They eventually did come back to us with a recommendation, got costs but went with the one we had sourced.
On another note I sent a job out yesterday, cover + 6 page fold out + 8 page insert saddle stitched. Printer rang to say it was impossible that the fold out had to be in the centre spread not on the outside and it couldn't be done. Rang another printer and they said no problems. Rang first printer back and they said, oh, ok sure we can do it, disregard what we first said.
Now thats bizarre. Im worried about what I'll get back off them.

- Tell em to fuck off. Printers only seem to print what they want when they want.
