    have you seen the groupthink testing done in the 50s (around there) when they gave ordinary people the controls (through this knobby device) to electrocute individuals contained within a locked room of a lab? because the person given the orders wore a white lab coat these people felt confident that sending powerful and damaging electric shocks through to absolute strangers was okay. they heard the trapped victim scream violently but were completely at ease with their actions because someone of apparent authority said it was the right thing to do. so bizarre.
