Being part Asian, I know about this issue. My dad is very dark and my mum is very white so I am mix of both (Pantone 729 C ;) so when I go and visit my family they all look at me and say that I am very fair and they like it but then again I look at them and I like their dark skin so I always find that funny.

If you look at Bollywood you will see that most of the actor there are fair skinned, unfortunately you don't see that many dark skinned women in Bollywood.

I think its shit when some women in India and other countries in Asia have issues with getting married due to having dark skin. We are what we are and that is what counts.

    • Bollywood starts are lighter, but a lot are from Northern India, where skin is lighter anyway.Jaline
    • It's Southern India where there is darker skin. You're right that there are more lighter-skinned people in those films, but there are other film industriesJaline
    • are other film industries for Southern India and Sri Lanka.Jaline
    • The fact you know your Pantone color is just so fucking cool.TheBlueOne
