My wife got an email from PayPal saying that the buyer's credit card company had charged PayPal a settlement fee for the unauthorised transaction. In turn PayPal charged the fee to her ($250) PLUS a fucking cheeky $10 extra processing/admin "fee". So now she's out $260 ($10 more than the item sold for months ago) and the buyer gets to keep the item.
So, lesson for the day? Buy your goods from eBay with a maxed out credit card, you might just get away with it.
Fuck eBay. Fuck PayPal. I've had it with them both.
