Did she respect your work a lot more in the beginning of the relationship? My X slowly changed from being impressed and complimentary to being cold and borderline insulting. I found out later (right around the time that we broke up) that it was because she saw I was happier and more passionate about my work than she was about hers. So her natural reaction was to act the way she did. It might be the same w/ your girlfriend. What does she do?
