As far as "stacking up" is concerned, it's far less expensive than San Fran, and Seattle too I think (though not as "far"), the trade off being that it is smaller, but don't worry, you will want for nothing, because there is very little that can't be found here, good food, good art, good music, and air that's clean as hell, the view of Mt. Hood on a day like today aint bad either.
