I can understand that, but I actually find it interesting to see what normal things people on my twitter list are doing. If you follow some people you look up to, it's an insight that's worthwhile.
I don't follow people who just post about how they are drinking a beer at xx bar, or cooking chicken, or whatever - I just follow people I think have interesting lives and something I could learn from.
