    How about the client that says:

    "We are different and unique and want a site to reflect that. We don't want the usual, typical, predictable design you see in our field with our competitors"

    So I do several more creative designs (keeping usability top notch) and nothing flies. Get frustrated, throw them a more typical, corporate design -- "perfect" they say! WTF?
