As the above notes just reminded me, over this past week my hair has gotten me an abnormal amount of attention. First, I got free lunch at a TGI Friday's for letting the waitresses feel my hair. Second, while relaxing at a bar after a pretty long walk some guy said "That's some serious hair, let me get you a beer man". Third, an Applebee's waitress gave me free dessert and felt the need to tell me all sorts of stories about all her little nieces and nephews and how I remind her of them and asked if she'd seen me before... strange encounters like these happened all throughout the week. My question to you guys is.... is this just an upstate New York thing or do I really stand out that much? I spend most of my day hiding from random social encounters like these, so I was caught a little off guard...
