At a certain point if you don't have hands the size of Allan Holdsworth your playing just sounds like percussion. He obviously worked hard on his picking technique, but I found his actual music (from the MySpace and presumably the end of this video) extremely dry and inarticulate...

- I don't think he's reached technical mastery. Speed yes, but articulation, rhythm, etc not really.ismith
