Religions start on the principle that you are lost and need some re-connection to a supreme something. I never felt disconnected from Nature or the World, so I need no Gods - but I respect those who do. I do not find that want or need stupid or dumbing. Although I find idiotic having someone pushing a creed on you. But those will just end under a tree. Which reinforces my belief on Nature.

    • I must say I do love nature. I feel connected to God there, but that's jus me.redant
    • Same thing.Corvo
    • Fact is most religions tell you your kind has fallen, and you need to re-connect. Now, what have you done, really?Corvo
    • Unless you believe you're liable from past actions you cannot believe in a religion that says you're guilty from start.Corvo
    • ... start. Are you guilty of what your forefathers have done? That's the basic question.Corvo
    • It's the "guilt" concept people need to sort out. If you accept it, you're a Christian. If you don't, then you're something else.Corvo
    • ... else.Corvo
    • ... something "else" just brings you to Nature. The stuff that you're made of, and the stuff that will carry you away.Corvo
    • In this prospect, all you have to do is workout the YOU. How do you do it? work it for the better profit of anyone around.Corvo
    • See? Even without gods, people retain the better principles.Corvo
