No, do not wear jeans, Rand. In all seriousness, if I were meeting a creative for some potential work, that would be the first thing I'd notice. Self presentation is almost as important as the quality of your work.
- if i was meeting you and you always refered to me as 'a creative' i'd kick your assoozie
- even more important is that you "know" someone in the industry from a design forum.TheBlueOne
- Wait, what? Calling a designer a creative is taboo now?hedge
- no when you say it it's patronizing and ignorant and inacurate anywayoozie
- ...your head would be caved in with a bat in no timeoozie

- it's inacurate period i don't call anyone 'a creative', creative maybe, creative company...sure.oozie

- Would it be alright if I called you a designer?hedge
- 'creative' is like one of those industry tags that mean nothing and just keep people in their place.oozie
- I design sometimes but most likley if i was meeting an investment fund manager i'd do a lot more than thatoozie
